The Balloon Room Boutique, formerly The Balloon Room Boutique, started as a part time venture in the evenings, fitting around a typical Monday-Friday 9-5 full time work schedule. This proved to be rewarding but extremely challenging, however due to being made suddenly redundant after 7 years’ service the Director of The Balloon Room Boutique decided that was the perfect time and opportunity to put all her skills and energy into practice.
The founder of The Balloon Room Boutique previously worked in the corporate world managing a company fleet where she somehow, completely by accident fell into the balloon industry after making a balloon arch for her parents Tiki Bar Grand Opening. From there she decided there was a market for bespoke balloons to bring smiles and happiness to people’s faces and make grande statements at special occasions. This is how she found her passion for balloons.
The Balloon Room Boutique initially started off in a small spare bedroom at home to now being preferred supplier to The Grove Hotel, BBC and has featured on Eastenders and Celebrity Juice to name a few.
We have marketed our services, expanded our clientele, added new merchandise and are always adding new current original designs to keep fresh and in line with our clients’ needs to provide 100% client satisfaction.
We have from the beginning recognised that training is key in this industry so have concentrated hugely on gaining as much knowledge as we possibly can from the outset, Gemma is now NCFE Qualified in Creative Crafts (Balloon Artistry) which is the highest recognized qualification in the industry. Also regularly attending any builds we possibly can, 3 years at the world-famous Big Balloon Build in Wales being the biggest and most favoured. We could not have grown so much as a business without the word of mouth and recommendations from our very loved repeat customers and of course our just as loved and appreciated new customers “ you guys” so from the bottom of our hearts we thank you!
